Good or bad, IISSM Newsletter has managed to survive for two years without interruption. We salute our readers and viewers for having borne with us all this time. We have now gone beyond security professionals and have well-wishers among non-security fraternity as well. Admittedly, we do not undertake any 'original' work. Within the constraints of our limited resources, we make humble attempt to collect information of value and interest, especially of security concerns, with tidbits from non-security sector so as to break or neutralize the monotony of security business.

No doubt we have received encouragement and appreciation from different quarters and also constructive cooperation from some, but we have learnt it is necessary to have a big heart and be a born optimist so as to be able to sustain such efforts. We are reminded of the old saying, "If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives. Do good any way." Some friend jokingly (but perhaps truthfully) said all our disappointments and bouts of frustration arose because ours is a free service, meaning obviously, "Food tastes better when one has to pay for it or rather pays more for it."

Often times we have been thinking our Newsletter is rather uncomfortably lengthy. We shall, therefore, welcome suggestion on what to omit and make the Newsletter more acceptable or readable, without however compromising on its quality or content. We shall indeed feel highly obliged.

On behalf of IISSM, I sincerely apologise if we are taxing our friends and well-wishers much too much!
