Being a non-profit educational organization, IISSM has found it useful to organise training programmes jointly with some established national level institutes and have also entered into joint ventures with both national and international organizations. Institutions are: the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), easily the premier agency for training of senior bureaucrats and officials in the public sector, and the Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM) of the Government of India. The IISSM also entered into a joint venture with the International Professional Security Association (IPSA) of the U.K. and the Tepe Group of Turkey in matters of membership and training programmes. Some other similar ventures have been with Confederation of Real Estates Developers Association of India (CREDAI), West Bengal, Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology (GJIMT), Chandigarh, and Institute of Management and Information Technology (IMIT), New Delhi.
